3 / 16 MAY 2022: The following Decree has been issued by the Ruling Bishop of the Diocese of Great Britain and Western Europe, concerning the form of liturgical commemorations of the Hierarchy in all churches of the Diocese, following the blessed repose of the First Hierarch (see the scanned PDF of the decree, below, in Russian and English).

In communicating these details to the clergy of the Diocese earlier this week, Bishop Irenei also noted that the Holy Synod had determined that, during the present Paschal period, in all Divine Liturgies, at the Augmented Litany the repose of the First Hierarch should be prayed for as an addition to the customary petition for reposed rulers, as follows: ‘Again we pray for the blessed and ever-memorable, holy Orthodox patriarchs; and pious kings and right- believing queens; and the founders of this holy temple, and for the newly-reposed Metropolitan Hilarion and for all our fathers and brethren gone to their rest before us, and the Orthodox here and everywhere laid to rest.’

Сообщая эти подробности клиру епархии в начале этой недели, епископ Ириней также отметил, что Священный Синод определил: Призвать епископат, клир и всех верных чад Русской Зарубежной Церкви в нынешнее Пасхальное время творить заупокойное поминовение почившого Высокопреосвященнейшого митрополита Илариона во всех храмах русского разсеяния на сугубой ектеньи Божественной литургии по следующей формуле: «Еще молимся о блаженныхъ и приснопамятныхъ святѣйшихъ патріарсѣхъ православныхъ и о благочестивыхъ царѣхъ и благовѣрныхъ царицахъ и создателехъ святаго храма сего, о новопреставленномъ митрополитѣ Иларіонѣ и о всѣхъ преждепочившихъ отцѣхъ и братіяхъ, здѣ лежащихъ и повсюду православныхъ».

3 / 16 MAI 2022 : Le décret suivant a été publié par l’Évêque dirigeant du Diocèse de Grande-Bretagne et d’Europe occidentale, concernant la forme des commémorations liturgiques de la Hiérarchie dans toutes les églises du Diocèse, après le repos béni du Premier Hiérarque (voir le PDF scanné du décret, ci-dessous, en russe et en anglais).

En communiquant ces détails au clergé du diocèse plus tôt cette semaine, Mgr Irénée a également noté que le Saint-Synode avait déterminé que, pendant la période pascale actuelle, dans toutes les Liturgies divines, lors de la litanie augmentée, le repos du premier hiérarque devrait être prié comme suit: «Nous prions encore pour nos saints patriarches de bienheureuse mémoire ; et des rois pieux et des reines bien-croyantes ; pour les bienheureux fondateurs de ce saint temple ; pour le métropolite Hilarion nouvellement reposé ; et pour tous nos pères et frères qui reposent ici et en tout lieu.»
